Mini Birthday Celebration FOTN and OOTN

Heyy Everyone...
So on the 25th of Feb I turned the grand 'old' age of 28. Now everyone who is dear to me seems to be relishing in the fact im 'getting old now' apparently and 'nearly 30' just two of the quotes ive been hearing allot. I take it all in good jest but it does make me think back because I actually remember my mum turning 30 and I remember thinking at the time that was sooo ancient haha.
The fact of the matter is I don't feel old and 30 is a whole two years away so im going to enjoy my remaining years in my 20's.

So the weekend before my birthday my friend invited me over to her house, when I arrived I could not stop laughing at all the birthday banners up and even my very own special princess crown cushion on my chair. We ate a lovely meal that she cooked drank plenty of wine and I even got a cake with candles, I had a fabulous night. A little highlight was the present my friends daughter gave me that she bought with her pocket money and wrapped herself, I was blown away.

As I was only going to sit in a house I wanted to be comfy and casual but still look nice.. I was the birthday girl after all. So I decided to wear my Primark 'disco pants' and a navy peplum top also from Primark last year that I adore.
I kept my make up quite simple but jazzed it up with my Hello Kitty red lipstick. I really liked the look and I didn't wear any fake lashes.

Sorry about the mess on the floor thats my birthday goodies off my mum and dad they really did spoil me.

I got my birthday part 2 tomorrow night where I will be hitting Liverpool with some my girlies and I cannot wait, cant even remember the last time I went out in Liverpool city center  I'm wearing a dress that im head over heels in love with, its the Kim Kardashian keyhole dress. I'm a big fan of Kim and the other Kardashians and I knew I had to make this dress mine as soon as I saw it, because I have quite a curvy figure I find it so flattering, cant wait to wear it.

Hope your all well, im actually stuck in bed right now with a tummy bug but im hoping a day of rest will sort me out for tomorrow.

Got an exciting post coming up to show some my birthday goodies including Illamasqua *dancing*

A Couple Of Outfits Of Recent

Heyy Everyone..
So here are a couple of outfit posts from a recent baby shower and engagement party I went to. I apologize now for the pictures but me being typical me I was running late on both occasions and had to just take a quick snap of myself before I left.

So here is what I wore for my friends engagement party.

I've been trying my best recently to be allot better with my money, I had a spendaholics moment when I wrote down all my incoming's then outgoings and realized how much money I really do waste. So with that in mind I did not buy a new outfit for this party like I normally would, this lead to massive panic stations when even 5 hours before the party I had no clue what to wear. I literally pulled out the contents of my wardrobe and came across this my savior still with tags on and everything.
I bought this dress last year for my uncles wedding but ended up wearing something else. This dress is from Primark and I cannot remember the price but cant imagine it was much (although their prices have gone up again) and my accessories are also from Primark.

Next up is a baby shower I went to.

The baby shower was an all day all night thing so I wanted to be not too dressy for the day but dressy enough for the night. I went with a sheer top and skinny jeans. I also wore a white blazer that I will show in a pic now.
Oh and Katy Perry lashes for Eylure are fabulous, loved the look of them, these are quite dramatic tho so best for nights out, there are more natural ones in the collection.

Here is the top and blazer style jacket I wore, I think the top was about £12.00 and I was thinking that's abit much for a Primark sleeveless see through top, even if it is from the Limited Edition its not like there's loads to it but I fell in love with it, I love bows and loved how it looked on with the jeans. I also bought the jacket and jeans at the same time and the jeans were around £8.00 I think. Only in Primark could a top be more than jeans.
Now onto the jacket OMG isn't it just gorgeous, the back and sleeves are all lace and I think it just pulled the whole outfit together for a very smart classy look. I cant remember how much the jacket was im sorry, something is telling me less than £20, or around that price, promise to keep receipts for future but I bought it recently so probably still available, it also comes in black too.

So as you can tell im a total Primark fiend, but I think if I can get something nice that's cheaper than most other shops then why not.

Its my birthday next week, turning a big 28 :-O so I'm allowing myself some splurges around that time but id say beginning of March is the time I get serious and stop wasting so much money. Wish me luck im going to need it.

Hope your all having a lovely weekend.

Xmas and NYE Outfits + a few cheeky Primark Buys

Heyy Everyone...
OMG can you believe how close we are to Christmas Day, its coming so quick but I finally sighed the relief sigh of being all done with my present shopping but knowing me ill still carry on buying.

So being the organised moe foe I am I have my outfits sorted for Christmas day and NYE all I need is my accessories.

So this is my dress for Christmas Day, I only really visit family on the day then back home and eat my body weight in food. I like to dress nice for the day but still be comfy and casual.
This dress seemed perfect, a gorgeous colour with a lovely beaded collar but floaty so wont cling to my Christmas gut haha.
I bought this dress from Peacocks for £25 so a great bargain.
Ill wear black tights with it, and not sure on the shoes yet.

This is my dress for NYE.... now im not really one for going out for new years. I hate how busy it is, cant get the bar cant get the toilet cant get taxis to get home and everything is four times more money. Gawddd I sound a right moaning minnie there. This year were going for a meal earlyish then back to my friends house for drinks and her house is walking distance so im happy about that, then see in the new year there.
This dress is actually one my best bargains of the year, its from River Island so gorgeous quality dress and it was on sale. I got it for £30 and it was meant to be £50.
Ive never wore a red dress before but I think because its such a classic shape I wont look trashy, it also has stunning bead detail on the shoulders.
The shoes are another bargain from New Look, these were 50% off so I got them for £10, was over the moon with them. Dont you love how I worry about a red dress looking trashy then put leopard print heels with it, I guess ill never be the classic kind of dresser.

Next up are two things I picked up from Primark. Ive wanted the Topshop 'geek' tshirt from the first time I saw it, because I actually get called a geek through my love of blogging and watching youtube, I then got put off it by the amount of people I seen wearing it. This 'nerd' top cost me £4.00 I couldnt pass it up. I got size M and it does look big but I wanted it roomy so I could wear it with leggings as well as tuck it into things.
The next thing I got is just a little black swing skirt, I think with a pair of tights under it can go with so much dressy or casual. That cost £8.00.

Soooo thats it for now, hope everyone is gooood and not getting too stressed with all the Christmas buzz, afterall it is the time to be jolly fra la la la la la la la laaaaaa.

Hello Kitty Slipper Socks

Heyy Everyone...
Happy December!!!! Wow cant believe its nearly Christmas, im soooo excited. I went into town today because I needed a dress for a party on Saturday but while out I decided to pop into Primark for some essential winter warmers. I picked up some gorgeous fleecy pj's the top is a purple fleece hoody and the pants are white with different coloured reindeers all over, so cute and most importantly warm!!! They cost £10.00, I do think thats a tad expensive for Primark pjs but I know for a fact I will get so much wear out of them. I really recommend Primark for your winter pjs so many cute ones in there.
Now onto my most exciting Primark purchase....

As you may know im a total sucker for anything Hello Kitty, so when I saw these they just had to be mine. They are the cutest little slipper socks ive ever owned, they are also so snug and warm and I love putting my feet in them after being out in the cold.
These cost £4.00, and I saw them in Minnie Mouse too if your interested.

Im happy to say im not far off done for my Christmas shopping, still need to get my dad something, men are so hard to buy for.

How you getting on with your Christmas preparations, it really will be here before we know it, and Im keeping everything crossed for no snow in Liverpool but its not looking good.

OOTD and OOTN

Heyy Everyone...
Hope your doing well, got a double outfit post tonight. I recently bought a midi dress that seem to be everywhere at the moment. Im not a big fan of the midi length because im not sure it suits me. I own two midi skirts that ive never worn so I had no desire to buy a midi dress until I saw a skull print one that was quite a figure hugging fit so I thought it was more flattering.

I love anything skull print and this dress is no exception. I think the print and the fit give it a much younger more flattering feel so I do enjoy wearing it. I decided to wear this dress with some plain black tights from Primark and some River Island black wedge boots.

Now for my outfit of the night, just something very casual and not how id usually dress for a night but I really liked it.

I wore a butterfly blouse from Primark that ive had ages but love to bits and a pair of navy shorts also from Primark that ive only worn once so decided to give them a little more love. I put my hair up in a high bun and ive never done that before for an evening. I know my roots are beyond awful going to book myself in hairdressers next week. Also cant believe im wearing red lips... was a night of many firsts for me. My lipstick is the Hello Kitty in Blazin that I recently bought.

I hope your enjoying your weekend, just a nice quiet Saturday night in for me nice and cosy in me onesie :-p

Im very excited for Christmas and cannot believe how fast the time is flying.

My New Winter Must Haves

Heyy Everyone...
So if you live in England like I do you will not of been without constant rain for going on four days now. It feels quite bitter out too and is a big sign that winters on its way. While out shopping I decided I was in need of some things to help me through this weather.

I think two things are a must and thats boots and a coat, so I popped into Primark to see what they had.

I decided I wanted a black coat, one I could basically throw on with anything, I wanted it to be longer than my waist because I want it to keep me warm but I still wanted it to look good. I believe this coat I bought ticked all my boxes, as soon as I tried it on I knew this was the coat for me. I love the fur collar and I love the leather look tie round the waist and the same material on the pockets and sleeves too. Having the tie round the waist makes it so flattering and I think thats important in a coat. This cost £28.00 and I think thats an amazing price for a coat, especially one ill get so much wear out of.
Next up I wanted some boots, I didnt have any particular ones in mind, just knew I wanted them to be black. As soon as I saw these wedge knee highs I loved them. Ive had a love/hate affair with knee high boots over the years, its so hard to get ones that fit properly and ive never found ones that are comfy enough for me to wear during the day. I adore wedges they give you hight but are comfy and easy to walk in, next I had to try them on and as a girl who doesnt have skinny legs its always a case of will it/wont it zip up. They zipped up fine so I was very happy. If you have that problem with knee highs too id pop into Primark and try some on. I cant remember how much they were I think they were £20, so absolute bargain.

Ive wore the boots a couple of times now and my only issues are they are a suede type material, so not ideal for the rainy weather, and as I walk they are abit too big round my ankles because I have small ankles compared to my calfs. That could be down to my legs tho and not the boot. Other than that im delighted with them and can see me getting plenty of wear out of them.

So tell me have you started picking up your bits for winter? If so what you bought? Ive even started my Xmas shopping too... EEK!!!

OOTN - Animal Instinct

Heyy Everyone...
Ive been meaning to do this post for soooo long and a million things just kept cropping up and getting in the way, anyway its here now. I had a night out a couple of weeks ago now, only stayed local but I really loved the dress I was wearing.

This dress cost me £13.00 in Primark, what a bargain and I felt so comfortable in it too. I done that really annoying thing that always happens in Primark if your not careful. I picked the hanger that had my size on but didn't check the size of the dress inside on the label, massive Primark fail.... and I ended up with a size 14 dress but I tried it on and it didn't feel too bad. It shows how misleading Primark are with their sizes, also why I usually try everything on but it was super busy and I just couldn't be bothered. Soo yeahhh loving my £13.00 dress, I love that I could wear it in the day too with a black blazer and tights.

My FOTN and hair were both kept pretty simple too.

Ive currently just finished the first 50 shades of Grey book and to be honest I read it in about 2 weeks and thought it was.... ok!!! Dont really see all the hype and really dont think its as raunchy as its been made out... all that said I will be buying the other two to see whats in store for Ana and Christian.

Im getting my roots done tomorrow and I cant wait!!! I love my blonde hair but the regrowth is so annoying especially since I get foils I just seem to get bad roots really quickly.

I bought some new Foxy Locks as I mentioned in another post and ive washed them in my purple shampoo and it seems to have done the trick with matching the blonde to mine, although its still not 100% in some places im much more happier with them now. Ill do a post on them soon and you can see.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, any nice plans to share??

Few Cheeky Primark Buys

Heyy Everyone...
I dont know about you but ive been so unimpressed with Primark the last about five times ive been in. I popped in today with my hopes not very high but I actually spotted a few really nice pieces so of course I picked them up (be rude not to)

Heres what I bought;

First top is a gorgeous navy blue peplum top with lovely beaded neck detail. This cost £10.00. I love these tops because they are super flattering and can be dressed up or down so easily.

Second top is a sheer pink shirt/blouse with a very cute black bow and lace detail down the front. I love the hot pink but they also do this top in white and black. Cant wait to wear this with my faux disco pants :P This top also cost £10.00.

Next top is a long grey vest top type that has all tassles down the front. It reminded me of a dress I saw in Topshop and nearly bought. This also comes in black with gold coloured tassles. This cost £7.00.

And lastly I picked up a pair of hot pink flats that have a big flower on the front. They cost £8.00.

So that is all for my little splurge today, hope you like what I got I cant wait to wear it all. Hopefully ill get some OOTD's.

Hope your all well... and its fridayyy woooo. Any nice plans for the weekend??? Im getting my roots done and thats about all I know so far.

OOTD anddd OOTN

Heyy Everyone,
How you all been? Im sat in bed now not feeling too clever, was out last night so im a little worse for wear.

I bought some shoes off Ebay, and ive had mixed responses about them. I personally LOVE them, but tell me what you think.

They cost £30 and there not branded or anything but I really love them. I wore them yesterday and they are very comfortable.

And heres my outfit yesterday daytime. River Island Glamour is forever top, jeggings from Primark and my new shoesies :):)

Now for my OOTN

Last minute buy dress here, its actually from the 'beach' section in Primark and cost £7.99 I think. I just loved the colour and the material is flattering. Its not full length but abit longer than midi (on me anyway im 5ft 3) Not sure if its the most flattering length for me with me being short but I teamed the dress with some high blue and pink wedges that ive shown in other posts and I was good to go.  I also love that I can put on a pair of flats and its a day dress.

Cuff also from Primark and cost around £3.00, its pink and gold hearts so cute.

Foundation Rimmel Wake Me Up
Sleek Brow Kit
Body Shop Baked Bronzer
Accessorize baked blusher
Lipstick Illamasqua Eurydice
Eye make up Naked 2 Palette - shades bootycall, tease, and busted
Eyeliner pencil, cheapo one from Primark

Hope your all well and enjoying your weekend. Looks like were back to rainy windy weather, hope everyone in the uk enjoyed their summer think those few days is all were getting :P I hope not tho im sure the sun will put his hat on again soon.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies

Heyyy Everyone...
Ive spend the best part of today eating McDonald's and watching Katie Price documentary. Im sorry shes my very guilty pleasure :P

I went out last night to watch a Beatles tribute band called Mersey Beatles, I had such a fabulous night. They started off with saw her standing there and finished off with the classic Hey Jude with many many more great Beatles songs in between.
I got to dance and sing along to my two favourites 8 days a week and Hard days night, and had to basically run out the toilet once I heard Lucy in the sky with diamonds start as I am lucy haha.

Now onto the outfit

Skirt and top from Primark that I showed a couple of posts ago.
Im actually not feeling great about myself at the mo, a few years ago I lost a fair amount of weight (about 3 stone). I was a size 8 through my teens then it all got abit out of hand, I lost weight and got down to like a big 10 small 12. Now for about two months ive felt my eating getting more and more, im scared of it getting out of hand and all my hard work going to waste. I put on a pair of trousers a few days ago and they was nearly going the charity shop for being too big, they are now too tight if anything :( This was my wake up call. Im not the diet kinda girl so im going to a boxercise class next week and im really excited about it. Sorry about my little weight moan there but its something thats been bothering me but hopefully this class will help get my confidence back.

Hope your all having a nice weekend. Its my mummys birthday tomorrow awww Im going to go pick a cake up for her in the morning and some candles, never too old for candles right? :):)

Quick Catch up and Haul

Heyy Everyone...
Guess whos back, back again, shadys back.. tell a friend :P
Omg it feels like ive been away from Blogging for so long. Ive moved house and it was so hectic and stressful but thankfully im feeling allot more settled now and I love my new house soooo much. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I have it.
My bedroom is now smaller sooo before the big move I had to downsize quite allot. I went through my wardrobe, shoe collection and make up. I made a bag of stuff for my mum, sold some on Ebay and the rest went the charity shop.
Now... what does every fellow shopaholic do when she has a clear out?? yes she goes shopping. Its like oooh look I have abit of space in my wardrobe I now need to fill it with new pretty things. Im sure you all understand.

I did have a teensy weensy excuse for the shopping, my uncles wedding is in August. The first pic your going to see is my dress, accessories and shoes I plan on wearing for the wedding.

This whole outfit is from Primark. The dress caught my eye straight away, the skirt is a gorgeous pinky orange colour and I got the dress in a size bigger just so the skirt bit wasnt so tight. I do have to sit all day and night in it so being comfy is very important.
They also had shoes to match in the exact colour of the skirt part of the dress. Perfect.

The pink peplum dress and shirt with sequin collar are both from a random shop in Liverpool. Im loving the peplum tops and dresses that are around now, I think they look really nice and classy. I've not worn mine yet but I cant wait to.
The yellow dress, black top with white bow and pink skirt are from Primark. Im wearing the black top and pink skirt this Saturday as im out going to watch a Beatles tribute band, im so excited. Hopefully ill get some pics and do a OOTN.

Hope your all doing well, ive missed you all so much. Blogging now resumes as normal and I cant wait to catch up with everyone.
