Wedding OOTD and FOTD

Heyy Everyone...
As mentioned in my last post I attended my uncles wedding yesterday. The sun was shining and it was such a lovely special day.
Weddings always have an affect on me, I love seeing a couple happy and smiling together, I also nearly shed a tear on the first dance because both of them were quite shy about getting up but seeing them hold eachother close and look into eachothers eyes was just magical.

Anyway enough soppyness for now, the wedding was a late one so I was happy about that as it gave me enough time to get ready without rushing.
I bought a dress from River Island but it was by a brand called Little Mistress. There was a few dresses in the range and they were all what you would class as party dresses, I tried on about 5 or 6 because I just couldn't choose. In the end I opted for a one shouldered creamy beige dress that had gorgeous bead and sequin detail round the waist. It cost me £45 and that's way more than id ever like to spend on a dress but I loved how it looked and with it being a special occasion I decided to go for it. I have another wedding on a different side of the family in October that I might wear it for but I don't know because ive been pictured in it now and everyone has seen... damn you facebook :P

My shoes were a cream pair ive had a while, they are high but because of the front platform and quite chunky heel they are comfy.

Here are my blingin Swarovski nails, how fab are these? I felt like one of Thelmas Girls :P Could not stop looking at them.

I bought this clutch out of River Island the same day I bought the dress. It cost £15.00. This bag is gorgeous and goes with the dress so nice but mannn did I struggle to fit all my necessary make up, phone and camera inside.

The make up I chose to wear was exactly the same as in my last post except I threw on a pair of Katie Price lashes in 'wild' incase your interested. Oh and the earrings are from Ebay and cost £9.99.

So thats what I wore, hope you like it.

If anyone is interested I bought a set of Foxy Locks extensions, they are the Deluxe ones 160 grams of hair, in shade 60 Light ash blonde. When they arrived I seen they didn't match my hair perfect but I thought I would get them dyed. Ive now decided im not going to bother but because ive removed them from their packaging they cant be returned.
They cost me £74.00 and have never been worn or even put in my hair, they are also currently out of stock on the website.
I will sell them for £60 plus P&P of £3.00, and will require payment through paypal or a bank transfer. If your interested let me know. If your in the Liverpool area your more than welcome to come and pick them up. Great bargain to be had.

Every Day Make Up and a Summer Dress

Heyy Everyone..
I woke up this morning, there were blue sky's, birds were singing and I could feel the heat coming through the window. YES I thought we finally have our summer, the rain is no more. To celebrate such an occasion I decided to wear a summer dress I bought from Asda that ive been dying to wear but couldnt (btw Asda has some gorgeous summer clothes in atm)

This is the dress, sorry about the picture it was just taken very quick before I left the house. Its a navy dress with red stars all over, and has two cut out bits at the sides. Its so comfy to wear and so summery I love it. I think it cost about £15.00 so not bad.

Heres my FOTD, this is the look ive been going for most days recently.

Heres some the products I used to achieve this look, and find myself grabbing most days.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in shade 400 Natural Beige - This is too dark for me so that's why ive been mixing my foundations. I hated this when I first bought it and im not sure if that's because its not my shade or the actual product itself. I wont be repurchasing, going back to my holy grail foundation that is healthy mix serum.

Bourjois 10 hour sleep effect foundation in 72 Rose Clair - This foundation is a perfect and I mean perfect colour match for me when I haven't got a tan. Its very lightweight, sinks into the skin lovely and you don't feel like your wearing foundation at all. Perfect if you like the natural look. I would buy this again, maybe for a holiday during the day.

Mac Zoom Lash in black - I'm not one for higher end mascaras at all usually but I won this in a give-away and I love how it makes my lashes nice and long and black without allot of effort. I would buy this again.

Smashbox Halo yellow colour correcting powder - This is already my second pot of this. I set my make up with it and it evens out the skin beautifully. I will be buying again.

SBC Blusher - This is a light pink blusher I got when I was doing my make up course and it was in the kit I bought from collage. Im not sure where you would buy it or if you even can, but I thought I may as well use it since I have it.

Laura Geller Shadow/liner in Unearthed/Dutch Chocolate - Stunning eye-shadow, one side is a goldy colour with bits of brown, the other side is a rich chocolate brown. I sweep the gold over the lid then add the darker brown to the crease.

Sleek Sheen Lipstick in Barely There - I cannot get enough of this lipstick, its been my go to lipstick for a while now. Its a gorgeous peachy pink colour. and so easy to wear.

Needless to say we didn't get a full day of sun, I managed to just get home before the rain started once more. Great British summer for you.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend

Sucking too hard on your lollipop, or loves gonna get you down

Heyyy Everyone...
I think I can already hear the cries of 'ohhh no another Revlon Lip Butter post' so I promise to keep it short and sweet.
Yesterday I went into Boots with full intention to buy some Lip Butters, I was a little disappointed when I seen nearly every shade was sold out but there was one left of the shade I most wanted anyway so I was happy.

My shade of choice is Lollipop (hence the Lollipop/Mika reference in title) Its a stunning bright pink colour, and I wore it today so thought id show you how it looks on.

I love love loveeee it, the colour is stunning, it glides on your lips so easy. Its nice and bright yet so wearable. These really are worth all the hype and I fully intend on getting more when I can.

Have you tried the Lip Butters? What shade do you think I should get next?

OOTD - Sale Dress

Heyyy Everyone..
Hope your all well. This is my outfit for today, just simple but I love it. I got this dress about two weeks ago in New Look, and even better still it was on sale :D

So as you can see it has that sort of Aztec print, in grey black and white. The long sleeves are great for the kind of weather we are having in the UK and I cant explain how soft and lovely this feels on my skin.
It was reduced from £27.99 to just £13.00. How could I resist??

Underneath I'm wearing some trusty Primark tights, that have fleece lining and OMG they are the warmest cosiest tights everr, and just some black boots I got from a Charity Shop to finish.
Make up and hair both pretty simple. Getting my roots done next week. I honestly cant wait but I'm actually going to a different place so I'm nervous, but fingers crossed all goes well.

Quick FOTD/OOTD

Heyyy Everyone...
As I type I feel soooooooo rough. Ahhh Sunday night drinking is not good!!!
Just a quick FOTD and OOTD from yesterday, just met up with a few mates, nothing to hard. Few drinks lots of food and Idiot broad 2.

Still LOVINGGG my Bourjois foundation and Sleek brow kit.
Ive also had more highlights put through my hair, im very happy but still not the shade of blonde im after. The first pic is taken with the flash on the camera and for some reason it makes my hair look orange in places, trust me its not. The last pic is taken without the flash and looks allot more true to colour. Id say im now a sorta caramel blonde colour.

My outfit is a lace body £3.00 Primark and Leather look leggings from a shop called B.U (in Liverpool) they were £12.00. Hairband and earrings Primark

Hope you are all doing well

FOTD - Including Sleek and Bourjois

Heyy Everyone..
Just a quick FOTD with my new Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation.

So heres my new foundation. I loved the first Healthy Mix foundation so this time I thought id give the Healthy Mix Serum a go.
Now on the front of the bottle it says Gel Foundation, I dont know about anybody else but it just seems like a normal foundation to me and not gel like at all, so not sure what thats all about but I love it none the less.
The shade I went for was 55 Dark Beige, and like with the first Healthy Mix I think the shade is perfect for me and it goes on like a dream. This is my perfect day foundation.
Ive been having a terrible time with my skin recently (worse than in my teens) and I think this covers it really nice but doesnt feel heavy.
My brows have also been done here using my much loved Sleek Brow Kit.
Please ignore my hair in the pic its WAYYY overdue to be done but getting it done next week phewww.

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday, and looking forward to a fab weekend.

OOTD My First Playsuit, PLUS The Body Shop Goodies :)

Heyyy Everyone...
Wow had such a busy day today. Just sat down now with my cuppa and a few biccys (hob nob cookies) nice and chilled so decided to do a post of my outfit today plus show you my Body Shop order that arrived this morning.

There was a fabulous offer on The Body Shop website, where if you spent £40 you got £20 knocked off. Far too good to pass up and not sure if the offer is still running so go check it out quick if interested. So heres what I decided to get.
First of all I picked up a baked bronzer in shade 01:golden bronze. Ive never owned anything at all thats baked but ive been eyeing them up for a while. I love the colour of this bronzer but if you dont like shimmer then its not for you, as there are specs of glitter in it.
Next is a baked blusher in shade 02:coral. Im a real blusher girl, LOVE my blushers and this made my heart skip a beat. Although im not sure I would describe the colour as coral, its more pink toned. Both blusher and bronzer are nice and easy to apply and can be used light for a natural look or built up.

Heres a pic of my cheek with both bronzer and blusher, altho the camera is washing me out, you can see how pretty they look on the skin. Please excuse my naked eye, hadn't got round to my eye make up yet haha.

I also picked up two hair products as some of you may know I used to bleach my hair, I now have black hair but its still in terrible condition until I regrow all my hair.
I picked up Rainforest Radiance detangling spray and Grapeseed glossing serum.
Havnt had a chance to use the detangling spray yet but ive used the serum and I am so happy with the results, it made my nasty damaged hair feel normal once more :)

Next here is my OOTD/FOTD
Some of you may remember a post I done about a playsuit I recently bought. I wore it today for the first time.

I paired the playsuit with flat sandals and a denim jacket, for a nice casual day look.

Here is my finished FOTD. Revlon colourstay foundation, Body Shop blusher and bronzer, Mac eyeshadow from a Viva Glam Cindi Lauper Palette, Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara, primark pencil eyeliner, Smashbox brow kit and a clear gloss by George. I really love mixing everything up with cheap and expensive. From make up to fashion...

PS your seeing my natural hair here so please be kind, I have allot of growing to do.
PPS If you have not already entered my giveaway from my previous post go check it out, some really good prizes to be won :) :)

Congrats if you made it this far with me haha. Right im off to make another brew.

Big hugs
