Review - Fearne Cotton Brushes

Heyy Everyone...
Hope your all well and enjoying your Saturday. I was out shopping in town on Monday and noticed Boots had a 75% sale on all the xmas gift items. I went in there at 9.30 AM and it was rammed with crazy women carrying more than their weight and height in sale goodies. I'm not really one for the hustle and bustle but I did spot some Fearne Cotton make up brushes that I had been eyeing before xmas, so I thought now is a perfect time to pick them up.

First impressions are I love them, the floral pattern and pink bristles really stood out to me. Unfortunately that's where the love starts and ends.
I hate to say this because Im a big fan of Fearne, but these brushes are the worst ive come across. They are rough and dont look very well made at all.The bristles look like they have been hacked at and when you rub them on your face they feel so harsh on your skin. The big face brushes are the best and I think I may still use them, but the smaller eye brushes will not be getting used, far to rough for the skin round your eyes, it actually hurts.

Here is a pic of one the brushes close up. Can you see how bad that looks?
Now they arnt the most expensive brushes in the world, they were £16.00 full price but if I would of paid that id be gutted. ELF brushes arnt expensive either and they are much much better.

Has anyone bought these brushes and are happy with them because im also wondering if I just got a bad pack.
This is my first negative review as its not often I really dont like something but id hate someone to waste their money on these.

Im off out later for a nice meal and I cant wait. I havnt picked a outfit yet but if I pick one I like and more importantly dont make myself so late I have no time for pics ill do a OOTD

Love

  7. All face brushes are great, love the foundation over my more expensive ones, eye brushes are dreadful. They hurt. One's okay, mainly the bigger, lip brushes, fatter one is great, thin one, what does it even do?
