Mini Birthday Celebration FOTN and OOTN

Heyy Everyone...
So on the 25th of Feb I turned the grand 'old' age of 28. Now everyone who is dear to me seems to be relishing in the fact im 'getting old now' apparently and 'nearly 30' just two of the quotes ive been hearing allot. I take it all in good jest but it does make me think back because I actually remember my mum turning 30 and I remember thinking at the time that was sooo ancient haha.
The fact of the matter is I don't feel old and 30 is a whole two years away so im going to enjoy my remaining years in my 20's.

So the weekend before my birthday my friend invited me over to her house, when I arrived I could not stop laughing at all the birthday banners up and even my very own special princess crown cushion on my chair. We ate a lovely meal that she cooked drank plenty of wine and I even got a cake with candles, I had a fabulous night. A little highlight was the present my friends daughter gave me that she bought with her pocket money and wrapped herself, I was blown away.

As I was only going to sit in a house I wanted to be comfy and casual but still look nice.. I was the birthday girl after all. So I decided to wear my Primark 'disco pants' and a navy peplum top also from Primark last year that I adore.
I kept my make up quite simple but jazzed it up with my Hello Kitty red lipstick. I really liked the look and I didn't wear any fake lashes.

Sorry about the mess on the floor thats my birthday goodies off my mum and dad they really did spoil me.

I got my birthday part 2 tomorrow night where I will be hitting Liverpool with some my girlies and I cannot wait, cant even remember the last time I went out in Liverpool city center  I'm wearing a dress that im head over heels in love with, its the Kim Kardashian keyhole dress. I'm a big fan of Kim and the other Kardashians and I knew I had to make this dress mine as soon as I saw it, because I have quite a curvy figure I find it so flattering, cant wait to wear it.

Hope your all well, im actually stuck in bed right now with a tummy bug but im hoping a day of rest will sort me out for tomorrow.

Got an exciting post coming up to show some my birthday goodies including Illamasqua *dancing*

  5. I'm 28 soon too and remember thinking exactly the same when my mum was 30 - I remember her looking like a proper mumsy 30yr old (or maybe thats what the 90s did to you!). Looking in the mirror its hard to believe I'm 2yrs away from that image - I still feel like a teenager whose no way old enough to have kids or be married! (I'm the only one out all my friends who is child-free and without a ring!) x
