Heyy Everyone..
I'm sure you have heard of the saying 'A good workman never blames his tools' and I agree but I'm sure said workman would appreciate better tools to make the job allot easier and in allot of cases a better end result.
What I'm waffling on about here are make-up brushes, I have a very big collection from my cheapo Ebay ones to Mac ones. I do believe having decent brushes help get a nicer finish from your make up but with most decent brushes being quite expensive Ive only ever bought the odd ones here and there.
Well that changed a few weeks ago when I placed a big ish brush order on Boots.
I'm sure your all familiar with Samantha Chapman and her brush range Real Techniques, I have decided one day I will own every brush in the collection after buying the stippling brush last year and falling in love with it. Her brushes are such fantastic quality at such a great price, but I expected nothing less from Samantha. After looking over all the brushes the ones I decided on ordering were... The Blush Brush, The Starter Set, The Fine Liner Brush and The Powder Brush.

All the Real Techniques brushes are made out of Taklon bristles which are synthetic, so the brushes are 100% cruelty-free. They wash well, and dry quickly, allot quicker than my Mac ones, so big bonus there. Ive had absolutely no issues with shedding and I could not be happier as that's a massive pet peeve of mine.
The Base Shadow Brush, Deluxe Crease Brush, Powder Brush and Blush brush ive used every single day since they arrived. I guess my one and only issue is that you cant buy every brush individually as I don't use every brush in this set and I would like to buy more Deluxe Crease brushes without having to buy the whole set again.
My next Brush on my wishlist is The Expert Face Brush, and id like the core collection too.
These really are fantastic quality brushes at an amazing price, worth every single penny.
Have you tried any Real Techniques brushes would love to hear what you think.
Love Lucy x x
I love real techniques brushes. I would highly recommend the Core collection. I use the buffing brush and the contour brush every day and can't wait to purchase more from the line. The powder brush looks so luxe! I need it in my life! :) xx

It is annoying you can't buy them all separately. The expert face brush is great, I use it for foundation, cream bronzer, blusher and highlighter, barely used my stippling brush since I got it. X
